This is Dwight Howard getting suspended

April 29, 2009 · 1 Comment

The NBA announced today that Howard has been suspended for game 6 between the Magic and Sixers.  Howard blasted Samuel Dalembert with an elbow in the first quarter of game 5.  He was assessed a technical foul on the play.

Here it is:

I don’t agree with the suspension, but I give Sixers coach Tony DiLeo credit for complaining loud enough to incite the suspension.  Maybe Vinny Del Negro should have lobbied for Rajon Rando to be suspended.

Stay tuned.

This is lame. None of these corny ESPN moderators have never played a day of basketball in their life, and therefore have no idea what they’re talking about. Just cause the refs missed it and didn’t eject him doesn’t justify a worse punishment after the game is over.
