Williams was angry after being snubbed
There is some justice in this crazy world.
Okay, it’s not that big of a deal, but Mo Williams has finally been named to the Eastern Conference All-Star team.
Williams wasn’t selected to the initial roster, and his chances seemed slim after NBA commissioner David Stern named Ray Allen and then David Lee to the roster as injury replacements.
But Williams was the logical replacement to the roster after Raptors F/C Chris Bosh was ruled out of the All-Star game because of his ailing knee.
I felt that he should have been selected over both Jameer Nelson and Devin Harris, who were selected as reserves by the coaches.
He is a very underrated player and has worked hard to improve throughout his NBA career.
Williams is averaging 17.1 ppg and 4.2 apg this season and has helped solidify the supporting cast of LeBron James.
