Here’s the latest in injury news around the NBA…
- Josh Howard is out indefinitely with an ankle injury.
- Martell Webster is out another four weeks with a broken foot.
- Boobie Gbson will be out for a little while with a sprained big toe. We’ll know more once the MRIs come back.
- Elton Brand’s hamstring is healthy enough to play, according to Brand himself. So expect him to play tonight against the Cavs. Whether he’ll play well is another question entirely.
- As we previously wrote, Monta Ellis worked out on the sidelines at Warriors practice today. He’s getting closer, but not yet cleared for basketball activity. According to reporters in the facility, Ellis left practice without a limp.
- Carlos Boozer will give it a go Saturday night, but has been ruled out of Thursday’s game.
- Finally, Shaq will miss the Suns’ next game because of the death of his 92-year-old Great Grandmother. Our condolences, Shaq Diesel.
